Figure 3 Constructions emerged from Sam’s ambition for new challenges and his desire to collaborate with exceptional individuals. Partnering with experienced developer Daniel Capitanio, Sam found the perfect opportunity to establish a construction company dedicated to delivering consistent service excellence.

Sam is deeply involved in every aspect of the business. He takes pride in managing the team and clients, always striving to exceed expectations and deliver construction projects that their owners love. Sam thrives on challenges and responsibilities—traits that were honed during his AFL career, where greater challenges sharpened his focus and performance. As a hands-on leader, he takes pride in team management, surpassing client expectations, and delivering outstanding construction projects.

Acknowledging the importance of ensuring reliability and trust, Sam found that taking responsibility for both people and performance significantly boosted his own motivation and results. These critical focal points are what Sam brings to Figure 3 Constructions. He genuinely enjoys tackling challenging projects and bearing the responsibility for the team’s performance and the overall success of the business. The satisfaction of overcoming on-site challenges to achieve project milestones closely mirrors the joy of winning football games as part of a team, a feeling Sam cherished as a professional athlete.

A true “people person,” Sam relishes working with clients to meet their needs and believes that a motivated and skilled team is essential for success. His background includes a carpentry apprenticeship begun in 2008, part-time work with industry leaders, and a role as Construction Supervisor at Agushi, where he contributed to award-winning projects.

Sam holds a Certificate III in Carpentry, Certificate IV in Building Construction, Domestic Builder Unlimited Licence, Commercial Builder Low Rise Licence, and is pursuing a Masters in Business Administration. He enjoys the satisfaction of overcoming on-site challenges and achieving project milestones, akin to the thrill of winning football games.
